Description:
I installed Plus last night, turned computer on tonight, will not finish boot up, file display missing, reinstll file and click any key????
My poor computer was working fine, I called Dell and we used my boot up to get it running. Told me to call Microsoft and would probably have to reinstall windows.
Friend said to only install missing files or corruped files. Which I tried to do and I guess throught custom installation I CHICKENED OUT,as I didn't see anything on missing files or corrupted. Am I going to find where it says missing files or corruped files. I can't afford to screw this up. Please help me.
thanks for any help.

Eleanor,

Can you still start windows at all?
If not do you know how to startup in safe mode?
If you can get into windows, try uninstalling Plus. I don't think this is really the cause of your problem, since I use it with good luck on many computers. But, it is the best place to start. If removing it does not help, then you could proceed with reinstalling windows. Everything should remain intact. This is a good way to reinstall any missing or corrupt files. Just backup any important data that you would not be able to get back through software reinstalling, such as any documents you have created.

Good luck.
