Description:

What do I have to do or get in order to be able to read attchments on my e-mail that my daughter sends me from her pc that end in .mime? She can't read mine that I send to her either. I can read 95% of everything else I receive from other people, but nothing from her.

Gail,

.mime means nothing. MIME is the name of the "Internet file system", similar to the Mac knowing that a document was created by Excel. So your daughter's attachments only mean that her PC didn't know what it was when she sent it. Ask her to state in her mails what she is sending. Most text can be opened by any word processor. Most graphics can be opened by GraphicConverter.
