I'm trying to turn on pre-os X compatible AFP filesharing so my pre-OS 9 computers can log onto my server, but when I go into Netinfo Manger, and click on config, the appleshare property isn't there. In fact, there aren't ANY properties listed under config. I know I've done this before... any thoughts?

ok, there are some AppleTalk options under System Preferences>Network>Builtin Ethernet on the AppleTalk tab.
And I dont' know where you would set AppleTalk in NetInfo Manager, that may be ignorance on my part, but there are settings for AppleTalk in Directory Access.
I hope I helped, let me know.

In Netinfo Manger you can set whether filesharing uses TCP or Appleshare for its services by setting a 1 (TCP) or a Zero (Appleshare) in the config box. I've done this before but this time the config category is missing any properties.

Thank you! I'm not sure how this whole macosx.com thing works. It's the first time I've needed this kind of help. It's pretty cool.
