Description:
Today, I've rebuilt my desktop and have since been advised by my husband that our Grandaughters "messages" are gone. Sure enough, going into Control Panel, Sounds...all that appear to remain are the sounds that came with the computer... Are they buried someplace that can be retrieved? I have ResEdit. Don't know what to do with it, but if it will help, I will try...

Open the System Folder then open the system file and see if the sounds are there.
