Description:
When installin WIN95 over WIN3.1, the modem was conflicted. It was detected but I had com port & IRQ conflicts. I used the HARDWARE CONFLICT portion of the help files, but to no avail. A request for help was posted on the message bouard 16 Feb, but no answers as of today. According to the modem manual, I pulled all the jumpers for PnP, but WIN95 still couldn't correctly identify it. Under WIN3.1 (which I went back to using) the modem is set to Com3/IRQ5. WIN95 wouldn't detect a COM3 & the modem conflict was with COM2. Any help or suggestions? It's the only thing keeping me from using WIN95.
