Description:
I upgraded my GV modem to the v.90 standard last night and ever since doing it, I can't stay connected to the net for longer than 5 minutes. I've written to the company's tech support but haven't received an answer just yet. Any ideas what might be causing this? Is it possible to go back to the way my modem *was* before I upgraded it? Thanks!

Cecily,

This could be caused by several different things. If your provider is not V90, sometimes there is a problem if you are connecting to a modem that is only X2 or Kflex ( the opposite of what your modem was before you upgraded). Also you may need an upgraded apple remote script to use the functions of your V90 modem. Good Luck.

Tim
