Joseph,

Hi my name is Tim I'm a tech with No Wonder. There are many things that can cause you to log on at slower speeds. Some you control, some unfortunatly you do not. What I would do first is check the speed you have set to log on now. Do so by:

1. Click start...
2. Goto Program Files...
3. Goto Accessories...
4. Click on Dial-Up Networking...
5. Right click on the icon you use to log on Bell Atlantic...
6. Click Properties...
7. Click Configure...
8. At the bottom you'll see "Maximum Speed" set it for the fastest setting it has...usually 115200. DO NOT check the Only connect at this speed box...

If this dont get you online faster then I would check your phone lines. See if your phone lines will support 56k. You read on how to do that at this address: http://www.3com.com/56k/need4_56k/linetest.html That will let you know if 56k is supported or not. If I can further assist you please feel free to contact me. You can e-mail me back or contact me on ICQ. My UIN is 875666. I am also on AOL Instant Messenger if you wish to contact me there. My username is Tim Rehahn. Thank you for using No Wonder.
