Description:
How do I remove the built in geoport modem to enable me to use both my global village 56k modem & printer......... ie i want my external seial port back!

Your user manual will give you instructions on how to remove the communications card (internal modem) on page 173.
It just lifts up and out of the slot.
Starting on page 161, it will tell you how to pull out the logic board.
The modem port on the rear has a plastic plug in it, just pull it out and hook up your external modem, after you remove the card.
