I had a new modem installed it's a
US Robotics V90 56K faxmodem...my question is this...is there anyway to make it so i don't have to listen to it dialing and making the connection??..I can hear it in my tower and it's loud..really loud!!!! I went to modem and I turned sound off but it's still there. HELP!!!!

Go into modems, then click on your modem and press Properties. There, press the Connection Tab, then click on Advanced... There, in the extra setting text box write:
AT&F2M0
and click OK and close everything... Try it, it works perfectly...
