Description:
My monitor in the last few months
has a dim screen, it is like you have
put sunglasses over it. The setting
(brightness) is okay. Everything is
readable but you cannot distinguish the color. I have been told that it may be the Hard Drive going out or even the color tube in the monitor.
Please reply so that I will know what needs to be done.

only way to know for sure is to try another monitor on your computer OR try your monitor on another computer. it is not likely that it is the video on the logic board, but possible. it definately is NOT a hard drive that is causing the problem. it is likely that it is the monitor that is the problem.
