Description:
Another problem coincidentally that has occured since I removed mac 8.I have avid videoshop 3.02.When I launch it I get a dialog box that says " avid videoshop plug in is not in system extension folder-proceed without power mac intosh acceleration"
I didnt see this plug in in the system folder but the software loads after I click o.k. but I just want to get rid of that box, also does that mean the program won't work to its fullest abilities.I cant reinstall the software because I don't have the disk

also I have jpeg view that I downloaded from the web,I installed
it as instructed. After I convert a photo to jpeg it says it is a jfif,is that a jpeg,I want to send photos to friends with pc's I
hope I'm converting them to jpegs.

Peter,
My name is Cheryl and I will be helping you. This is the moment that we say "back up first". Do you still have the previous system folder? You should save it and test each program to make sure that you moved all the proper extensions over. The only way to get rid of that dialog box is to re install the program. Maybe a friend has one.
Jpeg: I haven't used jpeg viewer so I am not that familar with it. I do suggest you download Graphic Converter. That is a great shareware that works. You then can convert any pic to any format you wish and send it as an attachment to your pc friends.
Hope this helps you. Keep me posted.
Cheryl
