This really bothers me: on a mac, when you have many windows open, is there a way to get the window you want to the front? For example, I use the photoshop browser often, but when i go to find it, it is lost in the back windows...i know about expose, but this is different..why can't the prgram your clicking on, come forward..seems like sych an easy, efficient thing.

Well if you know about Expose then you know that by pressing F9 and selecting the Adobe Photoshop Browser you can get to it in about 5 seconds flat (I just tested the timing on my Powerbook for a normal mousist *made that up* about 5 seconds)

Of course there is also Command and Tab then click on the Photoshop Browser icon...

It is up to you!

Did this help? If not maybe I misinterpreted your question

If you have OS 10.4 Tiger scratch what I just told you

in Tiger pressing F10 seperates your photoshop windows from the rest of your apps making it easier to browse or navigate through them

Let me know if this helps...

kinda..i am using tiger and the f10 does bring the browser to the front, but once f10 is let go it disappears. I guess what I am looking for is expose, and maybe i simply don't know how to to use it all that well, but here is my example...you have many, many windows open, in fact they sit on the bottom of the screen as you progress through the day. I often need to get to the photoshop browser, but its buried beneath a lot of open windows...actually f9 brings up all the windows, but again, i can't seem to "catch" the browser and make it come front. I have always resorted to going through all the windows until I find the one I want...f10 seems to do the same, but again, they fall back after you let go of the F key. ..
any ideas?
thanks!

Well if you use F10 its supposed to only collect Photoshop windiws, once you find the main browser you are to click on that window, don't release F10. The Expose release will happen after selecting any window (in your case the Photoshop Browser)

Remember F10 then find then CLICK!

Tell me if this works...

I have to say, F10 does bring it front, but for the life of me, I cannot get to it stay front and open. Once you click on it, it slips back into the background.
Thanks for all your help.
