hello i am looking for an program that can archive my movie database, like scan my harddisk etc and also check at imdb etc.

there is enough of this for windows.

You may want to try "Delicious Library". It is available at:
http://www.delicious-monster.com/
I have used it for a while and am quite satisfied.
