-> Moving User Folders
macaddict2 - Jun 19, 2005 - 9:08 am
I installed panther, and backed up my files first.
How can I put a user back on the panther, would I have to copy the user folder?
And where exactly would I copy it to.
Thanks
M

Hi Margaret
Depends on how you backed up your user folder. OS X has thousands of invisible files that don't get copied in the normal way.
If you used Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper, then you would use it again to copy back.
If you didn't use either of these, you can try just dragging the user folder back and putting it
