TICKET ARCHIVE -> MSN not working

Everytime I open my messenger a message pop up that I must download the new version for Mac then I click and the dowmload starts but when I try to open it asked me to do the download again....it does not recognize the download I made. It had happened before and a Apple genius had fixed it but I can't remember what he changed....Can someone help me? I'm in Italy and there are no "genius" here...!!! Simone

I would toss Microsofts Version of MSN any way. Try using an other Messeging client like Fire or Adium. Have a look on http://www.macupdate.com for either of those applications. They are both free. I personally prefure Fire because with a few settings changes it looks really nice. Adium though is a little more user frendly when setting up things and supports the use of Proxys etc.
