Hello

I have added a new external hard drive. I want to put my itunes library there. I know how to do it and it is done.

BUT i want to change the link location for the music icon in the sidebar to my music folder in the external hard drive. i am unable to do it throuh the 'get info' in the side bar music icon.

PLease advice.

Just want to make sure you've successfully moved your iTunes Library to the new location and iTunes is happy, knowing where to find it now.

Finder Sidebar items don't get changed in the way you suggest. Instead, you just remove the ones you don't want and place the ones you do want, just like the functionality of the Dock.
