Description:
I had to perform a clean install to fix a problem. I tried to fax something yesterday and I am unable to. At start up, I am told that I haven't chosen a fax device, but when I go to the chooser and try to choose a device, no devices show up in the window. I am running Global Fax Village that was originally loaded on the computer when I received it. I am at a loss to find the device that I am missing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You need to reinstall the Global Village software that come with the computer. Go back to the Cd that came with the computer. Install the orginal software than update it to system 8.
