I used to have my N95 Nokia phone iSync with my Mac on Tiger but upgrading to Leopard, I cannot get it to work. Nokia provides an N95 iSync driver which is not compatible with Leopard.

Using iSync normally it states that N95 is not compatible with Leopard iSync. Is there any way to get this working?

Thanks in advance

Have you tried reinstalling the Nokia N95 iSync plugin, downloaded from this page?

Hi, well, thats the thing. It doesnt allow me to re-install from there because it states that "iSync needs to be updated ". But basically, going by blogs and other notes, it means that their plugin is not leopard-compatible

A better message would be "your iSync is too new" - eh?
I suppose that you get to wait for the plugin to be updated. Many developers are in the same condition with the release of Leopard. There was enough differences with the final version of Leopard that developers are still struggling to work out the updated software/drivers, and this is just another example.
Watch your Nokia site for updated info. You may even see Apple add more internal iSync compatibility in a system update (10.5.1 or .2)

Thanks. Figured. yeah, but a critical oversight. I know with Tiger, Apple were slow to update that as well, so others created third-party plug-ins for Nokia. I just wanted to see if anyone knew of one such for Leopard. Its not an overly complicated thing, a simple iSync package edit of a plist. In any case , Thanks mate. If you could leave this ticket open, maybe someone else might hear of a solution.
Cheers
