I have my Emac networked to my PC. when i was browsing in my mac's preferences and what not, i saw that it could be controlled by other computers if i allowed it to. i was wondering if there was a way i could control both my PC and my Mac with one keyboard and mouse without having to get a switch type thing. i think it said something about VNC. well thanks,
nick

You can use VNC to do this. Load a VNC server, such as UltraVNC, on your PC. Download Chicken of the VNC for the Mac and connect to your PC.

You can use OSXVNC as a server on the Mac side and use the UltraVNC client to connect from the PC.

If you have trouble with UltraVNC, try TightVNC or WinVNC (the original). UltraVNC offers the best performance under Windows but I don't recall the stability of going PC-to-Mac.

I remote control my PC using Remote Desktop Connection. Enable Remote Desktop under Windows (My Computer | Properties) then download Microsoft's Remote Desktop Connection client for Mac. I find RDC to be much faster than VNC but it's only good for Mac-to-PC or PC-to-PC.
