Good morning.

I have a Apple MacBook, Intel. I have nominated (in System Preferences) the Book to start up in Network mode. On restarting, A grey globe appears in the middle of a white background, and spins. There is no dock at the bottom, or in fact any Drop Menus at the top. How do you get the Book to revert back to normal OS X mode?

I havent tried anything, as there are no options to try! Other than inserting a special keycode (unknown to me) to hold down when restarting that forces it back into OSX mode?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Restart your MacBook, while holding the Option key. Choose the OS X partition from the icons that show up on that screen. Then press Enter.

The Network boot will only work if you are connected to a network that has an Intel boot image available. This is usually used in an OS X Server environment.

When you are booted back to the normal OS X, be sure to go to your System Preferences/Startup Disk, and choose the correct boot volume.
