TICKET ARCHIVE -> Old Fonts...can I Use On Mac Osx Tiger

I have old fonts from last MAC OS...

LaughPla Postscript Type 1 Outline Font
and
LaughinPlain.bmap

How can I get to use them under Tiger?

Bill,

My name is Cheryl and I will be assisting you. If these fonts worked well in 10.3.x, then they will work in Tiger.

First you need to locate those fonts on your hard drive. How did you install Tiger? If you did an archive and preserve, those fonts will be in Previous System Folder>Library>Fonts.

Drag those fonts to your desktop.
Now go to computer>Library and locate the Font folder. Now drag those font files to that Font folder. Close the window. This will allow all user to use those fonts.

Now you can make sure the font is working by opening Font Book (in Applications folder) It should be listed under All Fonts.
