TICKET ARCHIVE -> Opening a Software Update.

I Have recently purchased a new 12 inch ibook brand new. When I download things from the internet, such as photoes etc, once it has downloaded and I try and open it a message comes up saying safari can' open the file. I cannot find a suitable program that will open it. As I have recently switched from a PC this is frustrating as usually you just click on the file and go from there.

I have Kelly Slater pro Surfer game that requires an update to run effectively I have downloaded the file which is a .sit file but cannot open it.

Can you offer me any advice in opening downloads from the net and do you no how I can run this update on my mac.

You need to download Stuffit Expander (get it through www.versiontracker.com). The expander is free, but they make you download a trial version of the entire suite to get it.
