Problem: Software
Computer Type:
Model: powerbook 3400c
RAM: 48meg
RAM Enhancer: Virtual Memory
OS Version: System 7.6.1

Description:
When trying to open a .pcx file downloaded from an E-mail Attachment and translated by MacLinkPlus 10 into TIFF, the acrobatic reader says: There was an error opening this document; file does not begin with '%PDF'.

When translaated into PICT, it says: This file decompression not supported.

Acrobat is using Color It! 3.0, not PhotoShop which I don't own. Can I do it without PhotoShop?

Thanks for your help. -- John Vaughan
