I need to go from mac os x 10.3.9 to at least mac os x 10.4.8

what is the easiest way to do this?

I just bought the upgrade for adobe cs3 and now I can't use it, was I supposed
to know this beforehand?

thanks!

You should get hold of a Tiger DVD from an Apple dealer or eBay. On the Tiger install DVD different installation types are offered. Which you choose is up to you. One possibility is to upgrade Panther to Tiger. This would keep all your settings and personal files, but many people prefer to back up all there personal stuff and do a clean installation on a formatted hard drive. As mentioned it is up to you. Be sure you know what you are doing, and backup important stuff.

It seems from discussions on "Apple discussions"

http://discussions.apple.com/thread....readID=1262308

that many people are having printing problems with 10.4.11.

I don't have any advice for you so I'm reopening the question.

Timothy,

Have you fixed this issue. If so, can you provide what you found out? If not, I'd be happy to help if you are still having the same issues. What printer do you have, USB based or Network?

Thanks,

Scott
