Description:
After OS 8.5 installation, the OS Assistant would not work. An error (type 2) occurred, and the message box said to "save files, quit current application, and restart computer."

There have been reports upon installing MacOS 8.5, it's something to do with the
drastical modifications Apple has made to the oldie (7.x and before) OS.

The recomendation is to backup your Hard Disk first. Then, loading from the CD,
reformat the HD with Drive Setup. Install 8.5 and perform a test with Disk First Aid to be shure of the estability of the disk structure. When you are shure, restore your data.
