About 6 months ago I updated my from OS 9.2 to OS X. No Problems, all good. This morning I tuned on my computer and it starts up directly to 9.2 again. I cannot find OS X anywhere. Any idea what could have happened, and how I can recover?

Hi Travis,
Sorry to hear about a bad upgrade experience. I'd like for you to do a few things so that I can get more information to help you with.
1) Open up the 'Startup Disk' control panel. How many valid System folders does it find? If it finds one marked Mac OS X, or Mac OS 10.x, select that one and reboot the machine.
2) Open up 'Macintosh HD'. Look for a file called 'mach', or for any other files bearing the blank document icon.
Please tell me what happens when you try those steps.
Best of luck,

Thanks Rob,
I was able to choose Mac OS 10.x in the startup disk and reboot and everything was back to normal.
I really appreciate your help.
Kind regards,
Travis
