TICKET ARCHIVE -> Os9 & Dmg Files

I recently downloaded an update of Internet Explorer 5.2.3 for my MAC OS9 and tried to open the .dmg file with stuffit. After some research I discovered I should go to Utilities and DiskCopy and drag the file there, but it still would not open, indicating it did not have a recognized file type. Can you tell me how to complete the installation of this file?

Sorry, but .dmg files are the proprietary format "disk image file" of Mac OS X. The only way to open this is from within Mac OS X. After the .dmg file is mounted in Mac OS X you can then make archive format(s) (ie. .SIT, .IMG or .SEA) from this mounted disk.
IE 5.2.3 is for macOsX only.
Last version for 9.x is 517
