When i click to download OSEx the DVD Ripping Softwear if downloads but then when i clik on it from my desk top it says there is no default application specified to open the document. How do I open and finish downloading this softwear?

Looks like the archive is a .sit file, requiring Stuffit Expander. Download from
http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/12012 and install. You don't need to keep all the components after the installation. After installation, you'll have no trouble expanding the archive and moving on.

ok downloaded what you said to. OSEx dowload and then when i open it nothing happens....i time bar pops up like its doing something and then it goes away. I am new to mac is there something im not doing?

Seems like it worked, if you saw Stuffit Expander open and its progress bar show the expansion of the archive. So, you don't find a folder called 0SEx 0.0101b in the same location as contained the archive?
Also, I must ask what version of OS X you're using and why you're trying to use a two year old DVD ripper. I recommend you try MacTheRipper instead.

Ok i tried downloading mac the ripper from macupdate.com and when i click on the download now it brings up a new webpage that says this file doesntexist. Is there any where els i can download it from. Thanks alot for all your help
