TICKET ARCHIVE -> Osx 10.4 Compatibility With Printer

I just purchased and installed Tiger on my EMac. All seems fine except my Epson Stylus Color Photo 820 won't work with it at all! Epson's website does not list an update for this system yet. Will they soon? I don't want to buy another printer if not necessary. Thanks!

In System Preferences open Print & Fax. Select the existing Epson printer listed in the window and then click on the "-" button to delete it. Then click on the "+" button to add a new printer. In the dialog that opens use the drop down menu labeled Print Using and select EPSON from the list. In the list dialog that appears scroll through until you find the Epson Color 820 driver (it's a Gimp driver) and select it and click on Add. This should do the trick.
