I am searching for a possibilty to save updates for 25 macs on a mac server 10.3.9 then point the 25 macs to this server to automatically download these at a specific time, out of school hours(similar to a

This is possible, and very simple, using Apple Remote Desktop (http://www.apple.com/remotedesktop/)

Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger" Server makes it even easier for Software Update as it allows your server to mirror the updates provided by Apple and the client workstations will automatically retrieve updates from your local mirror (instead of apple.com) when periodically running software update.

Hope this helps.
