TICKET ARCHIVE -> OT and FreePPP

Description:
This happens so frequently it becomes a hassle.
I start up and intnet application (Clari Emailer or Netscape). I dial up through the application. The connection begins but stalls half-way through. I either click on stop or wait a really long time for FreePPP to realize it can't make the connection. If I try dialing up through the application (put in another URL) the application thinks its connected but there is no connection. The link between FreePPP and OT seems to have been broken. The only way to resolve this is to restart the computer. Has this problem been noted by others? I am using OT 1.3 and FreePPP 2.62.

why are you using freeppp. I have seen nothing but problems when using freeppp and opentransport. I would suggest you use OT/PPP software. It will offer you more stability over freeppp when dealing with OT.
