Hi Dennis and welcome to No Wonder

OT/PPP is a control panel made by Apple. It should have been installed with your system.
FreePPP is a third-party control panel and it contains bugs.
OT/PPP is virtually bug-free and is very simple to use and set-up. It is used instead of FreePPP.
