TICKET ARCHIVE -> Pages saving pdf files at 66% approx siz

When I save my Pages document, a Newsletter at A4 size, it is reduced in size to about 2/3rds, and prints at this size. HTML saving just makes the document flow all over several pages and so does Word saving. I'm on Pages 2.0.2 on an Intel iMac with OS 10.4.10.
Any idea?

How are you saving it as a PDF? Are you choosing File --> Export? Or are you going to File --> Print then save as PDF?

Hi, I'm going to Export.
Just tried Print - save as pdf and the same problem occurs. I can print directly from Pages and it is the same reduced size, but when I show rulers and check the size it all shows true A4, as does Page Setup. Opening Preview under Print, by pdf, shows the document to be smaller than A4 yet the inspector says it is A4. I must be missing something obvious.

Ok, to me it sounds as if there is a setting within your default printer. I think it may be related to shrinking a document to fit within the printer's range. If this is the case, turn that setting off. Other than that, I'll see what else I can find and get back with you by tomorrow evening.

Sorry it's taking so long. Sometimes things can be hard to diagnose...

One thing I noticed. In page setup, right on the first screen... is scale set to 100%?

Hi, Thanks for those pointers, the scale is set to 100% and A4 default on the printer. Under Page Attributes scale is 100% but when I go to Print, Preview, the file is reduced, although showing perfectly in Thumbnails. I tried changing Preview to Auto Scale instead of 100% but this had no effect. I've just opened another Template and notice that the page sits to the left of the canvas whereas my document sits out from the left by about 5 cm, although the Rulers still show the document to be A4. The Thumbnails don't show this left margin. Thanks for the help so far! Chris

Ok... you have successfully stumped me! :-) Sorry, but I have no clue as to why your document would be doing this. I'll reopen your ticket so someone else could possibly shed some light on your situation. Sorry I couldn't help!
