How do I get to synchronize my palm tungsten T5 with address book? I have review a lot of places but I can not get to resolve the problem. My palm desktop synchronizes fine but I prefer address book and iCal

I don't know where exactly you have looked, but you have to use Apple's iSync application to do this.

Which version of iSync to use may depend upon which version of Mac OS X you are using.

One thing I discovered after doing a clean install of Tiger, is that you just can't download the desktop software from Plam's site. It doesn't have everything. You will need to have done an install from the CD that came with your Palm; but you have probably done that.

I have tried using iSync (2.1), mac os 10.4.2 and palm desktop( original that came with my palm and then upgrading to the latest version). I did the first hot sync, and then tried to switch to iSync but it does not recognize it. It does not have the right conduit it says. Do I have to re install everything again. Thanks in advance for your help

Navigate to your user home directory. Open the Library folder, then the Preferences folder. Locate the following file:

com.apple.isync.plist

Drag it to the trash and empty the trash.
