I recently purchased a Panasonic PV-GS31 camcorder, without realizing it didn't say Mac compatible. When I plug in the firewire connection and turn on the camcorder, my Powerbook doesn't respond. It doesn't even recognize that a peripheral has been plugged in. How can I get the two to talk and transfer my digital videos? Thanks.
