Hi, any idea why I can't save passwords? I check the save password button, and yet, it continues to ask. Happens in several applications? anything I can do?

Could you be a little more discriptive with your problem? This doesnt' give us much to go on. I assume you are having a problem with your keychain, passwords aren't saving when you tell them too.

Here's what you do:
1. Open keychain access in Applications > Utilties > keychain access
2. Go to the menu left of File, called Keychain Access, click FirstAid.
3. Hit the check button, if there's problems switch to repair mode witht he toggle buttons and hit check, it should repair any problems with your keychain.

Respond if this doesn't work.

Hi
I did what you suggested, and I guess your right, here are some places that it continues to ask for passwords, some are system, some are not. In either case I really want to get rid of these things.

1st before deleting items from some folders. (an example is jpgs in a music folder I brought over from my pc)

2nd logging in to my office outlook. Asks to save, but doesn't ever remember
3rd same as above but yahoo email.

there are more, but these are the few examples that may help you help me....

One more time... in the email program that comes with OSX it also keeps prompting me for my password.

On a completely unrelated question; if I wanted to burn some songs in a file folder; how would I do it? Ive tried dragging it to a burn folder, and there are no menu items that allow this?

Thanks for your help !!!!

I've been having the same problem with "mail.app" asking me for my password again every so often. Maybe it just gets a timeout and assumes it was an incorrect error. Personaly though I think It's a bug. Your problem with the password for yahoo not being remembered, are you talking about when you use your web browser to access your email or mail? If it's your web browser than that's a different story.

To burn songs to a CD in a file format, your right, all you do is put them into a burn folder and burn like normal. Although if you are trying to make a music cd that's a tad harder. You need to download a program for that. Most mac users use Toast, but that's a comercial program that will cost you. I don't know of any free ones but check versiontracker.com
