TICKET ARCHIVE -> Pathfinder keeps opening PDF's

In Get Info it says that Adobe Reader should open PDF's yet Pathfinder keeps on opening them. Pathfinder is a lousy PDF reader. What can I do?

The simplest way to make sure that Adobe reader always opens PDFs?
Drag the PDF to the Adobe Reader app icon. You can drag Adobe Reader to your Dock, so it's always available, and just drag any PDF to that dock icon, and you should be OK.
This is great if, for some reason, changing the Open With in Get Info doesn't seem to 'take'.
Have you tried using Preview for opening PDFs ?
