Hello. When I create a pdf from Quark 6.5 it gives me a preview icon instead of the Acrobat one. I currently have the full version of Acrobat 6.0 and use to have the proper icon but for some reason lost it. How can I get it back?

Just get info on the file (select it and command+ i) and set your "open with" to Adobe Acrobat. Should solve it.
Do your files end in .pdf?

Hi Nathaniel
Thanks for the tip but that only solves one file at a time. This is occuring for every pdf that I make. So when I double click on it to open and edit in Acrobat, it opens Preview instead. The file does end in .pdf but somewhere is defaulting to the Preview when opening. I had this before on another system but did not write down the quick fix. It was either in Quark or Acrobat preferences but I'm not seeing it.
Thanks
Jeanne

You have to also select the "Change all…" button so all .pdf files will have the icon and be opened by Acrobat (or Reader, whichever your preference).

Thank you Nathaniel!
I did not read that part last time and would not expect to change all of them in the info panel. I appreciate your time and patience.
Sincerely
Jeanne
