Help! Please!
History:
I set up a second admin user on a semi-shared edit suite that I use MOST of the time. I wanted to be able to have my own settings under my user. When I did this, I could not write to either of the hard drives (there is the boot drive, and three other internal drives striped into one RAID), so I hit the dreaded apply to enclosed items tab, and voila! I couldn't start the machine. Two frustrating days later I did an achive and install, reinstalled the pro apps, and fixed all my settings, but now we are back to stage 1.
Current Problem:
I cannot write to the RAIDed 1.4 TB of drives. I can read them, and acess files, but I cannot write to them (this is my media drive on the edit suite, so this is seriously impacting productivity!) AND I have a few external drives that are having the same problem.
My permissions in finder say I have read and write access, and I even have (and would like to keep) the 'ignore ownership on this volume' tab checked. All still to no avail. The icons for the drive have a little lock on the lower left corner.
Any thoughts?
