I constantly run into this problem. I'll make a word doc with MS Word 2004 and paste in pictures of various types. Most government agencies are PC based using Word without Quicktime installed. Unless I've pasted in jpgs or been careful not to resize pictures, they get blank boxes telling them to get quicktime. I know I can save out as pdfs for read only files. Ideally I'd like to have some setting or program to run the docs through to make sure to convert embedded pictures to vanilla flavored images that can be viewed by the target users. Expecting them to install quicktime is not a valid option and the mac is erroneously blamed for not being compatible.
Thanks in advance,
Mark
I have never had sucj problems with jpg images.
Nevertheless, you can use GraphicConverter to transform your images into any format you like. The most compatible one probably being .png
GraphicConverter is shareware, you can download it from
http://www.lemkesoft.com/en/index.htm
You can use it for free for evaluation (no significant restrictions).
Best Regards.
