Hi, I am only 4 months in to owning my mac G4 laptop so lets keep it simple! I have a Graphtec Vinyl Cutter used to cut vinyl letters to make signs. The computer reads it as a simple plug in like a printer or scanner. I had it all running well on Illustrator 10 and then installed 11/CS and it appeared to be working fine for a short while then it dissapeared off my screen all together. It shows up on 10 when I open it but will not send the artwork to the cutter as it did before. In 11 there is no option at all to send it to the cutter. I re-installed CS as well as the cd to install the Cutter Plug in and still nothing. It seems perhaps that installing cs has blocked something and I cannot find it anywhere. I have had 3 people come and try various steps to make it read it and again nothing. Mind you they were not Mac experts so I am asking for help before I have to call one in. My new business is on hold until I can get this running again. Any suggestions? Thanks, Stefanie

You mean to say you have both Illustrator 10 & 11 installed? I'm guessing here but try removing one and see what happens.
Although not Illustrator I experienced unstable computer behavior when I accidentally installed the same software twice. I would also check if the plugin is Illustrator CS compatible.
