I installed OS 8.5. Quicken Deluxe 98 works fine except for the pop-up menus. They don't include all items and highlighted items that do appear flicker.

Jerry,
Thanks for using NoWonder!
There are some reported anomalies with Quicken and MacOS 8.5 (and I see them myself when doing my checkbook!). I've seen the "flashing menus" and my experience is that you can still select things and they are appropriately entered into the field (or you can just tab into the field and then type the first letter of the item or the + or - keys to increase/decrease dates and check numbers, etc.). I haven't notices "missing items" however. One problem is that Quicken uses a product called OneClick to perform many functions; and the version of OneClick bundled with Quicken has some 8.5 compatibility issues. [Note: there is not an update to the OneClick extension at this time... but you can look for it at http://www.westcodesoft.com/). I imagine that Intuit will also create a new "updater" when the OneClick extension update is available. In the meantime, it appears safe to continue working with Quicken 98 and just ignore the oddities for awhile.

Roger
