Hey there....

I have successfully used MTR to rip a movie but when I open Popcorn and drag the VIDEO_TS file into it, it closes for NO REASON. Quite a few error reports have been sent to Apple...can you help?

I'll get this thing down eventually Thanks for your help.

Cecilli, welcome to macosx.com

(1) Which OS do you have ? Which version of Popcorn do you have ? (see in the 'About' box) ? If not already done, could you update to Popcorn 1.03 ?
If this not works, with the search facility of the Finder, remove all occurences of PopCorn; then re-install the CD version (or downlaoded original version) of PopCorn; then update to 1.03

(2) How did you made the VIDEO_TS ? Full disc extraction or a specific title/stream. If specific, try to rpp the whole disc and choose the scenes/soundtracks/subtitiles you want to keep within PopCorn, not in MTR

(3) Could you try to repair permissions ?
Close all the running applications (except the Finder)
(1) Could you try to repair permissions
(must be admin)
Launch Applications/Utilities/DiskUtility
On the left pane, select the drive
On the right, select the First Aid (or SOS) tab
Then click on repair permissions and let run; don not worry about messages like " new permissions...."
Quit DiskUtility
Shutdown and reboot

Regards
Philippe
