I can make it quite a lot bigger for video. But the picture size seems stuck. If I could get it a little bigger I could quickly see enough detail to determine if the picture is a total waste and delete it. I take a lot of bad pictures.
Well yeah......of course. If you try it, you'll find the column won't go any where as big as if you're previewing a video. Please put this back in the pool if you don't know. It probaby can't be done. But just in case......

From what I konw, Finder's preview/thumbnail can be up to 128x128 pixels. This is the max size you get in icons view. However, in column view you can get a thumbnail as big as 256x256 pixels, only if its already stored in the file, otherwise the max is 128x128 again. I suppose this depends on the creating app.
Check the freeware Batch Process Images (
