More info please:

Specific Powerbook model (open System Profile in Utilities folder, in the machine data what does it have for Machine Model?) Version of operating system installed? When did you last modify or upgrade the OS? When did this problem first occur? Had you done anything to the system immediately prior to when the problem occurred? What, if any, peripherals do you have attached? Have you tried any basic troubleshooting such as repairing the hard drive and permissions, booting into safe mode, or creating and logging into a new user account? If you do any of these, what happens regarding your problem?

It is a powerbook aluminum 1.5ghz 512MB ram 15 in. the OS is panther 10.3.9
The thing is the problem all started when my display had a white little spot and a line, it was like a pixel, I live in Mexico so I took it to the representatives of apple here in Mexico they told me they had to change the display, so they changed it and when I went to pick up my laptop they told me something else was wrong, and the guy told me something about kernel panic and that he had to change the "logic card" I really don't know what is it, the guy also told me that the kernel panic had caused the problem with the display, I really don't believe what they told me there it makes no sense to me, they didn't even make a safe reboot. So I just wanted to look for another alternative to solve the problem.
