Description:
What would not permit me to use Free PPP instead of regular PPP. for my modem aceess. I would like to upgrade to newer network server software which requires FreePPP.The ext MAng.and the computer will not permit me to shut off Reg. PPP.

Kevin,
I would assume that regular PPP is Open Transport PPP? Go ahead and install Free PPP, then goto the TCP/IP control panel and select Free PPP as the connection method.
