MAC Preview app. likely became corrupt when updating Adobe Reader, now thumbnails and PDFs don't open and Preview crashes. Is there is fix or reinstall for "Preview"

Try deleting the file com.apple.preview.plist
in
/users/(you)/library/preferences/
This file store settings for Preview, and may become corrupt.

Thank you, I've deleted the suggested file and Preview is now working again
