Up until a few days ago the application "Preview" worked fine as the default application for opening JPEG and PDF files. It doesn't work now. I recently applied an update for Leopard. How can I re-install Preview?
What about it exactly doesn't work? Reinstalling
10.5.2 might help. Perhaps the Software Update delta update didn't work properly, as sometimes happens; reinstalling the associated combo update is often the simple solution.

Double clicking icon yields only a background blink and the application does not open. Reinstalling 10.5.2 did not fix the problem.
I suppose I can try sending you the current version of Preview and you can replace yours and see what happens.

Hooked up external drive and restored Preview using Time Machine. Other solution didn't work. I guess we can put a lid on this one. Thx.
