Up until a few days ago the application "Preview" worked fine as the default application for opening JPEG and PDF files. It doesn't work now. I recently applied an update for Leopard. How can I re-install Preview?

What about it exactly doesn't work? Reinstalling 10.5.2 might help. Perhaps the Software Update delta update didn't work properly, as sometimes happens; reinstalling the associated combo update is often the simple solution.

Double clicking icon yields only a background blink and the application does not open. Reinstalling 10.5.2 did not fix the problem.

I suppose I can try sending you the current version of Preview and you can replace yours and see what happens. Email me so I know where to send it.

Hooked up external drive and restored Preview using Time Machine. Other solution didn't work. I guess we can put a lid on this one. Thx.
