Knowledge Level: Intermediate

Problem: Software
Computer Type: Intuit
Model: Performa 6118CD
RAM: 32meg
RAM Enhancer: None
OS Version: Not Listed

Description:
After I updated my software to OS 8.5, I discovered that when I try to print the bank register, the top part of the print window is hidden behind the buttons at the top of the screen. I can print the register by guessing where the print box on the window is behind one of the buttons. Or by turning off the buttons in the preferences menu. I did not have the problem with OS 8.1. I'ts the only program that I have discovered this unusual problem. The print window is active and the buttons are inactive allowing me to hit one of the buttons, but activate the print function.

Donald,
Thanks for using NoWonder!
You don't mention what version of Quicken software you are using. I don't know exactly what the "print window" is that you're referring to is - very likely Intuit has changed the layouts of things in different versions (I have Quicken 98 on my computer). Never the less, the most likely problem is due to a conflict between the One Click control panel, which is some software that Quicken uses, and OS 8.5. Although Quicken/Intuit haven't actually said much about this, and most of the problems I'm aware of are cosmetic, this won't be fixed until WestCode Software (the makers of OneClick) get a new update out. (They say "any day now".) You can check on the status by visiting WestCode's website:

Good Luck,
