Somehow my computer crashed after running Panther for three days without problems. We found out that another computer had been turned on that had the same TCP/IP as mine, causing my compter to completely crash. Everything was defaulted back to the screen we had when we first loaded Panther three days ago. My entourage lost all emails that I had recieved while using Panther (OS 9 before that) Old emails are intact.
Now the main question is...
In trying to get back to normal, without conflicting TCP/IP's, whenever I try to print/define printers, Adove InDesign unexpectedly quits.
I've made sure the PPD's are loaded, I can print out of Quark Classic mode no problem.
Lena,
Thanks for choosing MacOSX.com's free tech support!
What if you try to define printers with Indesign closed? Are you able to set up printers then? Is there anything wrong beyond Indesign quitting?
